I am a proud KITian and have high regards about the institute. The institute has not only induced the basic necessary engineering skills in me but has also has inculcated the importance of integrity and hard work. KIT created a sound foundation of my technical abilities which are applicable in my every day work. I am thankful to all the faculty lead by our then Principal Prof V. Y. Hardikar and the management of the institute. I wish the institute which has grown from Udyamnagar of Kolhapur to its own campus in the outskirts will grow in leaps and bounds producing the engineers who are relevant in today’s world and the KIT family further grows in every corner of the world.

It is a great pleasure and privilege to show my personal appreciation to my alma mater, Kolhapur Institute of Technology’s College of Engineering, Kolhapur. I got the right place where I could acquire knowledge, express myself and improve my soft skills. The state-of-the-art educational infrastructure, learned, supportive and encouraging faculty and up-to-date curriculum provided me with a strong foundation to enter the corporate world. I wish this institute will continue moulding all of its students into skilful engineers in years to come.

I am proud to have been associated with KIT’s college of Engineering, Kolhapur. The institute has played an important part in my professional development. Despite being in a non-metro city, there was never a dearth of industry-academia interactions, thanks to the efforts of the staff, alumni and visionary management.
The faculty members and support staff of the department of Computer Science and Engineering made sure the learning was an experience of its kind. There was an emphasis on programming assignments, software development process awareness and encouragement to use open source tools and platforms such as Linux, Java. When I joined Infosys in 2008 through campus placements, the company training sounded like mere revision thanks to the ‘learning by doing’ culture I was part of when studying at KIT. After 6 years, its heartening to see many of my classmates scaling new heights in their careers, some even running their entrepreneurial ventures successfully.
I thank all my faculty, support staff and management for their sincere efforts & wish the institute all the very best.

KIT has been a life changing experience, taking me from an average student to a confident working professional and engineer. The faculty, right from the first year to the last year were very helpful as they motivated me to participate in co-curricular activities and also helped in clearing my engineering concepts and providing valuable career guidance. KIT hostel facilities were very affordable. The college management supported all departmental and hostel events. Over and above all the beauty and greenery of the campus creates ideal environment for studies as well as good campus life.

It is a great feeling to be a KITian.
KIT has given me an identity as an engineer. Not just an engineer, but an engineer who is proactive, skilful and a leader. The institute in itself is a great organisation of which I’m proud of. I’m proud of being a part of it.
KIT as an organisation with sound People management skills, the staff is experienced, full of knowledge and always willing to help. It is the management body of KIT (who are entrepreneurs) and its informative staff which helps stands the institute distinct.
KIT gave me multiple opportunities of leadership, leading the department association ASCI and leading the Zonal Cricket Team was a different experience. There was always something to learn extra, C/C++ competitions, Paper Presentation, Linux workshops and many other things. During my college time I saw my other friends coming up with unique and distinct ideas from events to innovations. Looking at such aspirations during your college time inspires you to do something brilliant!
The beautiful location and unique architecture of KIT’s building outshines the others.
I wish all my friends, staff members and KIT all the very best for the coming years.

Joining KIT’s college of Engineering for my B.E CSE was the life changing decision. It has really transformed me into a skilled software professional and it all happened because of the good discipline, industry practices and well qualified faculty.
The college and the CSE department not only provided us the platforms like national level paper presentation and programming contests but also given us an opportunity to join MNCs during campus drives.
